Briskin plant in Lebanon up for sale
Nashville Business Journal
Briskin Manufacturing, which closed its auto parts manufacturing plant in Lebanon last month, is offering the 92,600 square-foot facility on 16 acres for sale through sealed bids.
MJ Partners Real Estate Services of Chicago will be accepting bids on the facility and its equipment through Jan. 18.
The plant served as a metal stamping and fabrication operation for the Chicago-based Briskin. It closed after Peterbilt, its major customer, sharply reduced production earlier this year. Briskin consolidated its operations in its Chicago plant, laying off about 130 workers.
Below market financing is available for prospects willing to assume $6.2 million in Industrial Development Bonds that mature in 2029, says Marc Boorstein, principal of MJ Partners. Robert H. Burrs Co. of Brentwood has been retained to assist in the sale, Boorstein says.
